Our story began in 1931 when George and Mattie Fletcher moved from St. Petersburg to Newberry, Florida, building a thriving farming enterprise spanning more than 2,000 acres and creating opportunities for their community. Under the leadership of their son, George E. “Cotton” Fletcher, the company expanded into real estate, construction, restaurants, and property management, growing to over 20 successful enterprises.

Following Cotton Fletcher’s passing on March 1, 2024, the companies are now led by his son, third-generation G.W. Blake Fletcher, who carries forward the vision, values, and generational thinking that define our legacy. Our economic engine is built on investing in the future while fostering collaboration across companies.
